About TireMileage
Quick answer: TireMileage is an independent reference that reorganizes public NHTSA tire grades so you can compare tires by size and by line. It is an early, staged release; nothing here is a sales recommendation.
We do not sell tires, test tires, or accept payment for placement. Today, retailer links are plain search links with no commission. In the future the site may include affiliate links and ads, which will be disclosed on every page and will not change rankings, which come only from NHTSA's grades.
Every page states its source and the date the data was pulled. Anything we cannot source is labeled “unverified” or left out. See the methodology and the open dataset.
Who is behind this
TireMileage is published by its owner under the site name “TireMileage”; guides are bylined to the site itself. We do not invent a persona or credentials. A named author bio will be added here when the owner publishes one.
Corrections policy
- If a number or claim here is wrong, we correct the page, change its “last updated” date, and note the change at the bottom of the page for substantive fixes.
- A public contact method for corrections has not been set up yet and will be added to this page.
- Guides cite the pages they rely on and show the date they were last updated. Maker statements are labeled as the maker’s own. Worked examples with invented numbers say so.
- NHTSA data is re-pulled and the dataset re-published when we refresh; every page shows the pull date.
